he Kevin O'Grady School provide highly specialized programs and services to students age 3 to 22 with moderate to significant developmental disabilities, including autism, intellectual impairment, multiple handicaps and medical fragility.

Located in Beverly, the Kevin O'Grady School focuses on developing both academic and life skills to maximize student's educational potential and increase opportunities for participation in home and community services.

Educational Approach
At the Kevin O'Grady School, staff provides integrated, team based services, which are designed to promote the success of each student in the classroom, home and their community.

Each student has an Individualized Educational Plan, designed by the educational team and their parents. Curriculum areas include academics, life skills, activities of daily living, communication and vocational skills. The curriculum is adapted for each student's individual needs. This includes modifications in the environment, teaching methodologies, equipment and instructional materials.

The Kevin O'Grady School offers a high staff to student ratio in small classroom settings. Services such as speech, occupational, and physical therapies are integrated within the classroom setting. Professional staff members are certified in their respective areas of expertise and engage in ongoing professional development to keep up with the trends and new information in special education.

Ongoing communication with families and outside agencies is integral in maximizing the growth of students. Parents are welcome within the program to observe, and there is daily home/school communication. Some families choose to have home training and/or consultation from therapists, social workers or behavior support specialists to assist them in providing consistency at home.
